🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Babcock University Disowns Alleged Fake Certificate Shared by Carter Efe

Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe has found himself at the center of a fresh controversy after a certificate he shared online, claiming it supported his academic credentials, sparked widespread scrutiny.

Reports circulating on social media claim that Babcock University has distanced itself from the document, with critics alleging that it is not an official academic degree certificate. The controversy intensified after internet users pointed out inconsistencies, including the use of the phrase "First Class Upper"—a classification that is not used by Nigerian universities.

The development has ignited heated debates across social media, with thousands of users questioning the authenticity of the document while others argue the incident may have been intended as satire. As of the latest available reports, there has not been a publicly confirmed official statement from Babcock University verifying Carter Efe's graduation status.

Catholic Diocese of Enugu Rejects Tinubu, Mbah Endorsement Rally at Holy Ghost Cathedral

Enugu, Nigeria – The Catholic Diocese of Enugu has distanced itself from a planned political endorsement rally reportedly scheduled to hold at the Jubilee Hall of Holy Ghost Cathedral, Enugu, declaring that its facilities must not be used for partisan political activities.

In a statement released by the Diocese, the Church reacted to a widely circulated media announcement advertising a "Historic Endorsement Rally and Adoption Ceremony" in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, billed for Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Cathedral's Jubilee Hall.

The Diocese made it clear that the Catholic Church remains committed to its spiritual mission and does not permit its churches, parish halls, or any other ecclesiastical facilities to serve as venues for partisan political rallies or endorsement events.

"Since the event is intended to serve as a political endorsement gathering, the Catholic Diocese of Enugu wishes to state that it does not permit the use of its churches, parish halls, or other ecclesiastical facilities for partisan political rallies," the statement read.

The clarification comes amid growing public attention over the advertised event, with many questioning whether the Church had officially endorsed the gathering.

Church authorities emphasized that while the Catholic Church welcomes all people regardless of political affiliation, it maintains political neutrality and expects its facilities to be used strictly in line with its religious mission and values.

The Diocese's statement effectively distances the Church from the planned endorsement ceremony and serves as a reminder of its long-standing policy against allowing its worship centres and facilities to be used for partisan political campaigns.

The development has sparked discussions among political observers and members of the public, as attention now shifts to whether the organisers will relocate the event or make alternative arrangements following the Church's position.

BREAKING :INEC DENIES NDC ACCESS CODE TO UPLOAD THEIR CANDIDATES

The Nigeria Democratic Coalition (NDC) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of denying it the access code required to upload the names of its candidates to the commission’s nomination portal.

The party made the allegation as it prepares to challenge a Federal High Court judgment ordering its deregistration.

Speaking on the development, the party’s National Spokesman, Osa Director, said the NDC approached INEC to obtain the access code needed for the online submission of its candidates but was unsuccessful.

According to him, officials of the electoral commission told the party they would “get back” to them, preventing it from completing the mandatory upload before the court issued the deregistration order.

“We approached INEC to collect the access code to upload the names of our candidates to the INEC portal. They told us that they will get back to us,” he said.

Director insisted that the party’s failure to upload its candidates should not be seen as negligence, arguing that the delay was caused by INEC’s refusal to provide the necessary access credentials.

He added that the NDC would return to INEC to make another request while also pursuing legal action to halt the enforcement of the court judgment.

“We will go back there by tomorrow. I believe by tomorrow we must have filed a stay of execution in court,” he added.

BANDIT LEADER BLOWS HOT

BANDIT LEADER BLOWS HOT, GIVES KATSINA STATE GOVERNMENT JUNE 29TH DEADLINE, AND AN EXTRA WEEK TO RELEASE TWO OF HIS BOYS IN DETENTION AND HIS COWS, OR HE WILL ATT▪︎▪︎ACK AND UNALIVE 200 PEOPLE IN THE STATE.

The military you are sending to come and unalive me, are the same people who are giving me information to change my location and run.

In a leaked secret recorded call between a ban▪︎▪︎dit leader Kachalla Muhammadu and a mediator, the ter▪︎▪︎ror leader blew hot, alleged a lot of things and revealed so much as well. Kachalla Muhammadu is the same ban▪︎▪︎dit who kidnapped late Major General Abubakar Rabi.

According to the ban▪︎▪︎dit leader, General Rabi was beaten by a snake, and that led to his unaliving, contrary to what the Nigerian government had claimed. Tinubu's government had earlier told us that General Abubakar Rabi unalived due to diabetes and hypertension complications while in captivity. But the Kachalla Muhammadu called it a big fat lie,

that the reason he allowed the General to kpai after the snake bite without doing anything to save him was because the Katsina state government was playing games, and wasn't sincere to meet up his demands.

He went further to threaten that he gave the Katsina state government from now until June 29th and an extra week to release two of his boys in detention and his cows, or he will attack again and unalive at least 200 people in the state. That he will not stop attacking and unaliving until the government stop sending the military to unalive him. He alleged that the same military the government is sending to unalive him, are the ones calling to inform him firsthand.

That they always give him information to change his location and run. That whenever they are sent to come and unalive him, some of them will call to inform him. They will be guiding him with information of their real-time locations as they are coming for him, so he can change his position and escape.

That no matter what the government does, they will never get him, or kpai him. He made a promise that if the Katsina state government meets up with his demands, he will stop attacking in the state. That his target is to go to Kano state, his home state to start attacking villages over there. He gave June 29th, and one extra week for all hell to be let loose.

Have you seen why Nigeria shouldn't be pardoning terro▪︎▪︎rists and ban▪︎▪︎dits. Most especially recruiting them into the military. A terro▪︎▪︎rist is always a terro▪︎▪︎rist. Even in military uniform, they will never mean well.

Tribe where visitors are offered cute lady for a night. Here is why

Deep in the arid landscapes of northern Namibia, where red earth stretches toward the horizon and cattle remain a symbol of wealth and status, the Himba people continue to preserve traditions that have been passed down through generations. Among these customs is one of the most talked-about and misunderstood practices in Africa: Okujepisa Omukazendu, a tradition that translates to “offering a wife to a guest.”

For outsiders, the custom often sparks surprise, curiosity, and heated debate. However, within the Himba community, it has historically been viewed as a symbol of trust, hospitality, and social harmony. The Himba, a semi-nomadic pastoralist people closely related to the Zemba community, have lived in remote regions of Namibia for centuries. Their way of life revolves around livestock herding, family bonds, and strong cultural values that have remained largely intact despite modernization. One tradition that has attracted global attention is the practice where a male host may offer his wife to a respected male guest for companionship during an overnight stay. If this occurs, the husband traditionally sleeps elsewhere, either outside the home or in a separate hut, while the guest is accommodated.

According to cultural historians, the practice was never intended as a casual arrangement but rather as a profound expression of trust and generosity. In a region where travelers often journeyed long distances through harsh environments, offering the highest level of hospitality was considered honorable.

importantly, researchers note that the woman is not necessarily without choice. While social expectations and community norms can influence decisions, reports from cultural studies indicate that women may decline intimacy with a visitor if they do not wish to participate. This aspect, however, remains a subject of debate among anthropologists and human rights advocates.

Community elders have long argued that the tradition strengthens social relationships between families and clans. Some observers have also suggested that such customs may have historically contributed to genetic diversity within relatively isolated populations. Despite its cultural significance, the practice has become increasingly rare as younger generations encounter modern education, urban lifestyles, and changing views about marriage and gender roles.

MR IBU’S SON: My dad left us enough to take care of everyone.

Listen! My name is okafor Somotochukwu, the 3rd son of John Okafor Mr Ibu and 4th child of Mr Ibu.
I came across a video this morning of my Step mother asking for financial assistance online, claiming her children are the only children my father had.

That is not true, Mr Ibu my father had many children, some older than me and some younger than me.

I decided to speak out because this narrative has become an insult to the rest of my father’s children and family.

When my father passed away, he left behind properties and assets meant for all his children. However, my stepmother (Stella) took control of everything for herself and her own children.

She sold my father’s house in Lagos for ₦60 million and did not reach out to any of his other children.

When I asked her for financial help from her, she ignored my messages and calls.
She also sold his house in Enugu for about ₦17 million, yet only sent me ₦40,000, saying she was merely giving it to me as a gift.

Later, I learned the property had been sold for millions.

She also sold another property in Asaba for ₦11 million without giving me anything.

There was also money in the bank and funds about N60 million that Nigerians contributed when my father was ill.

What hurts me most is that after keeping all these assets for herself and her children, she is now publicly presenting herself as the victim. Meanwhile, I struggled financially to the point that I could not even clear my school fees and access my WAEC.
I am speaking out because I want people to hear my side of the story. I believe my father would not be happy if I remained silent while these issues continues like this.
Thank you, and God bless everyone.”

Mystery in the Forest: Viral Video Shows Abandoned Fulani Settlement Deep Inside Delta State Forest, Sparks Questions

A video making the rounds on social media has sparked widespread discussion after it appeared to show members of a local vigilante group discovering an abandoned settlement hidden deep inside a forest in Delta State.

According to the narration in the viral footage, the vigilante team trekked for hours through thick vegetation before arriving at what appeared to be a cluster of makeshift structures. The video claims the settlement had previously been occupied by Fulani herders, but by the time the group arrived, no one was present.

The footage shows the vigilante members carefully moving from one room to another, opening doors, inspecting living areas, and searching the structures. The narrator alleges they were looking for weapons and other suspicious items, though the video does not clearly show any significant discoveries.
